EMDR Therapy
You're tired of dealing with ongoing issues that never seem to subside, even after participating in endless therapy sessions.
You are wanting to find a psychotherapy that helps you feel true change without needing to repeat your story over and over again. If you want to find real relief, transformation and change, EMDR therapy may be for you.
What is EMDR and can it work for me?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of psychotherapy that has been highly researched and shown to be an effective treatment to help people recover from past trauma and other stressful life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression and panic disorders.
EMDR loosens up something in the mind/brain that gives people rapid access to loosely associated memories and images from their past. This seems to help them put their traumatic experience into a larger context or perspective.
People may be able to heal from trauma without talking about it. EMDR enables them to observe their experiences in new way, without verbal give-and-take with another person.
EMDR’s initial goal is to process these experiences and help liberate the client so you can make changes in how you think, feel and behave in the present.

How can EMDR help ME?
EMDR is tailored to you.
You are the sole owner of your traumatic experience.
Your brain stores memories that will surface during an EMDR session.
During a session, you will identify a specific memory and process it until
you are able to reduce harmful impact it has had on your life.
As you are participating in EMDR, you may notice:
Increased self-confidence
Increased energy and focus
More restful sleep
Feeling more connected to self and more present
Freedom from past unwanted memories
Decreased frequency or absence of triggers
Positive changes in how you think, feel and be
Improved ability to silence your negative thoughts and transform them into positive ones
What do my clients say about EMDR?
My clients say after EMDR sessions:
”It’s MAGIC!”
“I feel lighter.”
“I finally had the best sleep ever!”
“I’m having less nightmares and flashbacks!”
“I can concentrate better at work.”
“EMDR Resource Tapping has helped me control my anxiety.”
“I can now finally focus on my dreams.”
